Using Clear glass considerations:
If using clear glass you will see the wall behind it so the etching needs to contrast the wall colour. If the wall is dark and pain then frosted etching looks great. If the wall is light coloured then the forsted etching won't contrast very well so you should consider having the text paint filled to creat the contrast.

Clear glass plaques are mounted using stainless steel stand off pins.

Using Painted background considerations:
Make sure the colour you choose suits the colour of the wall behind the opening ceremony plaque and the colour of your logo also suits the glass colour.

Painted background plaques can be mounted either by stainless steel stand off pins or a relief panel behind the plaque.
