Metal Photo Imaging is an outdoor suitable product that produces a rich full colour photographic reproductions that are permanent and suitable for outdoor UV exposure.

You just need to send us a high resolution image in as large a size as you have it. Do not reduce the size of the image or dpi resolution as this will lower the quality of reproduction. If the file is too large for you to send please zip and send it, send it via drop box or similar or send the file by post.

If you only have a printed copy of the file (no digital copy) please send the print to us. We will scan it and send it back to you.

Metalphoto® is a specialized type of anodised aluminium used to make durable, high-resolution asset tags, nameplates, labels, and control panels. Its unique, photographic imaging process creates ultra-high resolution graphics and variable information – including machine-readable barcodes, anti-counterfeit security features, and serialized data.

Metalphoto’s durability comes from its imprint image – which is sealed inside of the anodized aluminium, providing corrosion, sunlight, abrasion, temperature, and chemical resistance. Metalphoto® Imaging meets commercial, government, and military specifications and is used widely for outdoor signage in harsh conditions such as National Parks and seaside locations.

Confidence of ongoing durability

Metalphoto’s silver-halide-based image is sealed inside of anodized aluminum, like a photographic image. The surface is smooth, you can't feel the print. This process makes it UV stable and readable after prolonged exposure to harsh elements including sun, heat, salt, and chemical exposure.

High-resolution imaging

The image is sharp, clear, and produced in high resolution making even small labels legible and easily identifiable. Bar code labels are no problem for Metalphoto processing.
