We can replicate full colour photographs onto metal plate onto aluminium metal plate using precise dye sublimation method giving a rich full colour print that is heat pressed into the surface so it does not scratch off.

You just need to send us a high resolution image in as large a size as you have it. Do not reduce the size of the image or dpi resolution as this will lower the quality of reproduction. If the file is too large for you to send please zip and send it, send it via drop box or similar or send the file by post.

If you only have a printed copy of the file (no digital copy) please send the print to us. We will scan it and send it back to you.

Sublimation metal printing is a process used to create high-quality, durable prints on special polymer-coated metal surfaces. It produces vibrant-coloured prints on Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Polyester plastics.

Ideal for:
Indoor products include Plaques, Small Signs and labels, Title Plates, Photo Block Mounts, and alternative Permaplaque products.

The process involves image transfer by a high-temperature heat press and needs to be processed with materials with a special polymer surface coating. The printed transfer paper is placed on the metal surface, and the assembly is subjected to high heat and pressure in a heat press. This causes the sublimation inks to vaporize and penetrate the metal’s surface coating.

The finished product is a sharp, vibrant print that is scratch-resistant and very long-lasting. There are indoor-use materials and UV-resistant outdoor materials. The detail is high quality, including excellent reproduction of photographic images. The higher the resolution of the image provided, the higher the quality of the print can be achieved.

Sublimation Metals finishes available are:

Indoor Application: Brushed Silver, Satin Silver, Brushed Gold, Brushed Bronze, Mirror Silver, Mirror Gold, and White. Also available in Stainless Steel.
Outdoor Application: UV Stable sublimation materials are available in satin silver and white backgrounds: See DuraSub.
