Custom Medal and Badge Box Set

Most medallions made are 50mm in diameter x 3mm thick, but you can have any size up to 100mm

• Typical medal sizes are 40mm, 50mm, and 60mm.
• Typical thickness is 3mm, but for a heavier, more prestigious medallion, people often request 4mm thickness. You could also go for 5mm and 6mm.

We offer both stamped (die-struck) and cast medals. 

• Stamped Medals are made with a brass core and are the highest quality medallion, featuring the sharpest finish and being best suited to the excellent shiny/sandblast combination finish.
• Cat Medals are a high-quality option and slightly cheaper than the stamped style. 

We can create just one custom medal, but the set-up costs will make a one-off medal rather expensive. When you order more than one, the set-up costs are amortised across the entire quantity, making the unit price much lower. It usually works out the same price if you buy one of 10 medals.

Standard production time: 4 weeks, depending on workload, from design approval; however, we can usually accommodate any specific time frame. 

Yes! We offer:

• Digital mock-ups with every order
• Pre-production samples, however, there is an extra cost involved and it will add considerable time to the job.

We accept:

• Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG)
• High-resolution images (.JPG, .PNG, .PDF – at 300dpi or higher)

We can also assist you in creating or converting artwork if needed.

Yes, individual personalisation is available for an additional fee. Personalisation is typically done on the back of the medal.

You have two main options:

• Direct engraving onto the medal itself using Diamond Drag Engraving or
• A recessed area designed to hold an engraved Laserply plate. This method allows for greater flexibility, as the plate can be replaced, making it possible to reuse the medal for a different event if it wasn't used as initially planned.

We offer Standard neck ribbons (solid colours or stripes) or fully customised printed ribbons in any colour. See the ribbon selector on the product page.

The product page displays a range of packaging options, from simple zip-lock plastic bags to luxurious medallion cases.

Cases can be printed on the outside of the case and the inside lid. This is often done in gold or silver foil, but full-colour print is also available.
