More Information
What is complex engraving?
Complex engraving involves etching or marking on intricate, uneven, curved, or multi-surfaced objects that standard flatbed engraving machines cannot handle. We use advanced equipment and techniques to work on irregular shapes while maintaining precision.
What materials can you engrave?
We can engrave a wide range of materials, including metals (stainless steel, brass, aluminium), acrylic, timber, glass, stone, and coated surfaces. If you’re unsure, send us a photo and description of your item, and we’ll confirm suitability.
What methods do you use for complex engraving?
Depending on the item and required finish, we use:
- Sandblasting for, crisp surface etching
- Laser engraving for high precision detail
- Rotary engraving for particular metal or shaped items
- Full-colour UV printing where detailed colour or gradients are required
Can you engrave on curved or irregular surfaces?
Yes. Our specialist equipment and experience allow us to engrave on cylindrical, spherical, and otherwise irregular shapes with consistent quality.
How durable is the engraving?
Engraving is permanent, and when combined with paint filling, it’s designed to withstand harsh environments, heavy use, and outdoor exposure.
