Metal Inlays into stone

Our stone inlay service combines precision craftsmanship with timeless materials to create striking and durable designs. Using advanced stone etching techniques, we carve precise recesses into granite, marble, or other natural stone surfaces before carefully inlaying custom-cut metal shapes such as letters, logos, or decorative elements. The result is a seamless integration of stone and metal that delivers both elegance and longevity.

Often used in architectural signage, floor medallions, donor recognition walls, or feature artworks, stone inlay adds depth, contrast, and a premium finish. With a range of metals, including brass, stainless steel, and bronze, available, we can tailor the design to match your project’s aesthetic while ensuring long-lasting performance both indoors and outdoors. Common metals used for inlays include brass and stainless steel.

This process can be used to create large inlays that span seamlessly across multiple pavers.

About Brick Engraving

Premier Awards offers a professional brick and paver engraving service, transforming customer-supplied bricks and pavers into lasting keepsakes, tributes, and decorative features. Using precision engraving, we permanently etch names, messages, logos, or symbols into each piece, with the option of paint filling for added clarity and contrast. We can engrave any style and size of paver.

Do you supply the bricks or pavers?

No. All bricks and pavers must be supplied by the customer. Premier Awards provides only the engraving and paint-filling service.

What types of bricks and pavers can be engraved?

We can engrave most standard flat-faced bricks, ceramic pavers, concrete pavers, and stone pavers. For unusual, highly textured, or specialty pieces, please contact us to confirm suitability.

What can be engraved on a brick or paver?

We can engrave text, logos, symbols, or patterns. Common requests include names, dedications, donor acknowledgements, memorial messages, and business or club logos.

How are the engravings finished?

For maximum visibility, the engraved areas can be paint-filled with durable paint, creating a strong contrast against the natural brick or paver surface.

For dark ceramic, porcelain, and stone pavers, the etched area may create a good contrast to the paver surface and may not need paint fill.

Are engraved bricks and pavers weather-resistant?

Mostly - Yes. Engraved and paint-filled bricks and pavers are suitable for outdoor installations. The longevity of the engraving will also depend on the quality and durability of the material supplied.

For ceramic and porcelain pavers, some are waterproof below the surface, and some need a sealant. We’ll help you determine this.

What are common uses for engraved bricks and pavers?

  • Fundraising projects – Donor paths for schools, clubs, charities, or community groups
  • Commemorative installations – Walkways, walls, or paths marking events or milestones
  • Memorial projects – Tribute gardens, remembrance paths, or personalised pavers
  • Decorative landscaping – Adding a personal touch to gardens, courtyards, or entrances
  • Corporate features – Branded pavers for business or organisational recognition

What sizes can you engrave?

We can engrave extensive pavers and bricks. If you have custom sizes or unusual materials, we recommend sending us details or photos so we can advise before engraving.

Is there a minimum order?

No. We can engrave a single brick or paver, or large batches for fundraising or community projects.

How Long does it take to have bricks and pavers engraved?

Usually 1-2 weeks, but we can confirm that when we send you a quote.

Do you ship bricks and paver orders Australia wide?

Yes, we do. For large brick and pavers orders we will ship on pallet for the best protection.
