Create a montage of the Governor's Domain across multiple granite pavers to be laid in the pavement next to the original site.
This commission saw Premier Awards engrave a detailed line drawing of the historic Governor’s Domain into a series of granite pavers. The artwork was carefully divided across multiple stones, creating a unified image once installed. Precision sandblasting ensured consistent depth and clarity, while the gold-filled detailing added a striking finish that highlights the fine artistry. Today, the pavers serve as a cultural landmark, allowing visitors to engage with the site’s history as they walk through the space.

Production
Using fine-detail photopolymer masks and our CNC AutoBlaster, we achieve consistent depth and precision across multiple pavers. Intricate line drawings align seamlessly when installed in large-scale layouts, even across dozens of stones. Our masking materials are engineered for both smooth and exfoliated stone, delivering sharp detail where traditional methods struggle. Natural variations in texture do not compromise the clarity of the finished engraving.
Engravings can be paint-filled with high-grade epoxy, creating artwork that is vibrant, weather-resistant, and highly durable under pedestrian traffic. The epoxy enhances visibility while protecting against fading and wear, keeping designs striking for years. Each stage — from artwork preparation and masking to sandblasting, paint filling, finishing, and delivery — is carried out with precision by experienced craftspeople committed to upholding the highest standards.
