Scope of Work
Commissioned by COWYN Building Group for the Singleton Group's new restaurant and bar development, this feature medallion creates a sophisticated statement at the building’s main entry.
Premier Awards has proven capability to deliver complex architectural and signage projects that require precision engraving, metal inlay, and multi-material fabrication. Our in-house facilities include CNC automated sandblasting, laser cutting, UV and sublimation printing, and custom assembly, enabling complete control over quality and timelines from design through to installation.
For this project, four individually engraved granite segments were carefully aligned to form a 2-metre diameter medallion, demonstrating our capacity to handle large-scale, high-precision assemblies. Each stone piece was meticulously matched and levelled to ensure a flawless surface transition, allowing the brass inlay to sit perfectly flush within the engraved bed. The result is a statement piece that blends strength, symmetry, and refined craftsmanship — a benchmark for our technical and creative capabilities.

Production
This project combined experienced craftsmanship with advanced automated technology to achieve flawless precision. Using our CNC AutoBlaster sandblasting machine, each of the four granite segments was engraved with consistent depth and clean edges, producing an even bed ideally suited for the brass inlay.
The brass detailing was precision laser-cut to match the engraved pattern exactly, ensuring each element aligned seamlessly during installation. When assembled, the four engraved stone sections and brass components came together with absolute accuracy — fitting “like a glove” to form a refined, durable feature that captures both craftsmanship and modern precision engineering.
