DuraBlack is durable exterior-grade matte black anodised aluminium, ideal for indoor or outdoor placement of schematic drawings, block plans, and mimic panels.

It is resistant to abrasion, heat, UV, salt corrosion, and chemicals. DuraBlack outperforms standard anodised aluminium labels without the added step of protective coating.

DuraBlack engraves exceptional fine detail, including photographic re-production, bar codes, and QR Codes.

What is DuraBlack®

DuraBlack® is a laser markable aluminium for durable, on-demand marking for harsh operating environments.
DuraBlack outperforms standard black anodized aluminium in selected applications
DuraBlack is resistant to sunlight (UV-radiation), abrasion, high temperatures and chemical exposure.
Because of its ability to perform across a range of challenging environments, DuraBlack meets several government, industrial and military specifications, including MIL-STD 130N, A-A-50271 (≈MIL-P-514D) and MIL-STD-15024F, Type L.
Composed of a multi-level coating on anodized aluminium, DuraBlack can be attached to either curved or flat surfaces with adhesive, rivets or screws.
No Chemical Pre-Treatment or top coat is required.
