Ground Breaking Shovels – Ceremonial Shovels

Our groundbreaking shovels are high-quality real shovels in gold or silver finishes. In silver, we offer polished stainless steel ceremonial shovel and in gold Steel with gold plating. They make a quality statement at your sod turning groundbreaking ceremony.

Our specialised groundbreaking shovels offer an excellent surface for engraving. We are experts at engraving ceremonial shovels. You can have intricate logos and plenty of text expertly laid out by our professional graphic artists. We can engrave any image on your shovel face.

Engraving Options

Most people opt for the etched and paint filled option to make it stand out and easy to read during the ceremony, photo shoots and after Ground Breaking display. We only produce the best quality sharp edges engraving at Premier Awards. Nothing short of the best in the industry.

Etched and Paint Filled

We etch into the metal surface of the ceremonial shovel and then add a paint fill to produce an excellent engraved result. As a standard, we use black paint for engraving fill but you can have any colour you like. We can also optionally add multiple colours such as logo PMS colours.

Etched with No paint fill

You may choose to not have the engraving colour filled. This option created a frosted grey etching filing and stands out nicely on the gold shovels and is ok with the silver shovels. No paint fill works but it is just a bit harder to read than the classy paint filled finish

Shovel Handle Engraving

The timber handle of your ceremonial shovel cannot be engraved, but can have a vinyl sticker added with a logo or text in an area up to 200mm long x 60mm wide. Remember it is a long narrow handle so the width is limited and the pricing of the website is for a simple short message or logo. If using a logo consider if the shape of the logo will work will suit the engrave-able space.
