Our Process
Using #46 grit, we evenly sandblast surfaces to achieve the desired texture and finish using our CNC AutoBlaster. This process enhances the grip of the surface, reducing the risk of slips and falls. Sandblasted Shower Tiles
Our process of engraving shower floor tiles on our CNC Autoblaster ensures both aesthetic appeal and safety. Using precision technology, we engrave a line pattern onto each tile, enhancing its anti-slip properties through sandblasting.
This method not only improves grip but also adds a stylish textured finish to the tiles, making them suitable for wet environments like bathrooms. Shower & Spa Floor Tiles
The floor tiles at Barangaroo underwent a sandblasting process to address concerns regarding slipperiness, particularly in areas such as showers, spas, toilets, and the indoor pool. This method was chosen to effectively roughen the surfaces and thereby reduce the risk of slips and falls, ensuring a safer environment for all occupants.
Following the sandblasting procedure, the project manager successfully received a P5 anti-slip rating on the wet pendulum rating test for the tiles. The improved traction on these tiles not only enhances safety but also instills confidence among users, ensuring a secure and comfortable experience in these facilities.
Sandblasted Aluminium Floor Panels
Utilizing our CNC Autoblaster, we expertly engrave aluminum floor panels to meet rigorous safety standards. Employing precise sandblasting techniques, we enhance these panels with an anti-slip surface, crucial for environments requiring high traction.

The P5 anti-slip rating is a designation that signifies a high level of slip resistance for flooring materials, particularly important in environments where safety is paramount, such as industrial settings, commercial spaces, and public areas. Achieving a P5 rating involves rigorous testing to determine the coefficient of friction (COF) of the surface when wet or dry. A P5 rating indicates excellent slip resistance, significantly reducing the risk of slips and falls.

While we excel in sandblasting surfaces to enhance traction and prevent slips, it's important to note that we don't provide official anti-slip ratings. However, our sandblasting process has consistently yielded impressive results, receiving a P5 anti-slip rating in wet pendulum testing. This rating underscores the effectiveness of our approach in significantly improving surface grip and safety.
